More about corrections in Nebraska

More than half of the county websites are identical in layout and design with no consideration given for corrections, just the Sheriff. Very few prisoner lists, searches or rosters are accesible online, phone numbers are provided for convenience. One of the more prolific programs sponsored by the sheriffs is ThinkB4UWink which focuses on substance and alcohol abuse prevention and awareness for teens and youths. The NDCS oversees state prisons and provides an internet based offender locator for public use.
